Rumbo excels at Slam Sail Port Stephens Regatta to claim NSW IRC Div 2 Championship

Port Stephens based oyster farmers, Guy and Clark Holbert have cleaned up the Yachting NSW IRC Division II Championship in their Farr 30 Rumbo.

The third annual SLAM Sail Port Stephens Regatta (12 -18 April)  also doubled as the NSW IRC Championships. The Holberts scored a convincing victory with three wins in the six race series.

In IRC Division I, the MHYC Farr 40 Edake (Jeff Carter), equipped with Ian Short Sails, also performed very well finishing in a creditable third place in the series.
